WHAT would Christmas be without a jolly nativity film? The third instalment of Debbie Isitt’s “Nativity” is the continuation of the pupils of St. Bernadette’s and of course their nutty teaching assistant and buffoon, Mr Poppy (Marc Wootton).
This year sees a new teacher, widower Mr Shepherd (Martin Clunes) who after losing his memory, and Archie the donkey, forgets virtually everything and everyone. Most importantly he forgets his fiancée Sophie (Catherine Tate) and Christmas.
Shepherd’s young daughter Lauren’s (Lauren Hobbs) biggest wish from Santa was for Shepherd to marry Sophie. With the wedding set for Christmas Eve in New York someone had to come up with a plan.
What better plan than to enter the children and Shepherd into a festive flash mob dance competition. The first prize? A trip to New York…
